Petronet LNG Limited is one of the fastest growing world-class Public Limited Company in the Indian energy sector. The Company had set up South East Asia's first LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal with an original nameplate capacity of 5 MMTPA at Dahej, Gujarat. The infrastructure was developed in the shortest possible time and at a benchmark cost. The capacity of the terminal has been expanded in phases which is currently 17.5 MMTPA and the same is under expansion to 22.5 MMTPA in two phases. The terminal has 6 LNG storage tanks and other vaporization facilities. The terminal is meeting around 40% of the total gas demand of the country

The Fortune India 500 is a ranking of the top 500 corporations in India compiled on the basis of latest sales and gross revenue figures. The list is compiled and published annually by Fortune magazine.
Petronet LNG Limited, India's Premier Infrastructure JV Company, promoted by four major Maharatna & Maharatna PSU companies, is operating South East Asia's first LNG Terminal at Dahej, Gujarat. To meet the ever increasing gas requirements, the company is poised to begin the commercial operations from its second terminal at Kochi (Kerala) in early 2013. We have also started pre-project activities for construction of 3rd terminal on the east-coast at Gangavaram. The Fortune India magazine in its December 2012 special issue published India’s 500 Largest Corporations based on the sum total income & total assets for the FY 2011-12; Petronet LNG has been ranked at 46 this year, with full year revenue of Rs. 22,780.74 crores which is 12 positions higher than previous year ratings.
It is matter of pride for us as our company has shown tremendous performance in FY 2011-12 and jumped in rankings from 58th to 46th leaving behind some of top companies like Jindal Steel & Power, HCL Technologies, Central Bank of India, Bajaj Auto, Adani Enterprises.
