Petronet LNG Limited is one of the fastest growing world-class Public Limited Company in the Indian energy sector. It has set up the country's first LNG receiving and regasification terminal at Dahej, Gujarat with present nominal capacity of 17.5 MMTPA and another terminal at Kochi, Kerala having a nominal capacity of 5 MMTPA. The company is also exploring suitable opportunities within and outside India to expand its business presence.
The Company had set up South East Asia's first LNG Receiving and Regasification Terminal with an original nameplate capacity of 5 MMTPA at Dahej, Gujarat. The infrastructure was developed in the shortest possible time and at a benchmark cost. The capacity of the terminal has been expanded in phases which is currently 17.5 MMTPA and the same is under expansion to 22.5 MMTPA in two phases. The terminal has 6 LNG storage tanks and other vaporization facilities. The terminal is meeting around 40% of the total gas demand of the country

Petronet LNG Ltd ( PLL) has started its CSR voyage from Western Part and continuing its journey after Southern and Eastern Part of India, now reached Northern state i.e. J&K. Considering the lack of facilities/faculties towards imparting the coaching in the state of J&K for Engineering Entrance Examination to facilitate admissions in IITs/IIITs / NITs/State Govt’s Institution etc, PLL sponsored 40 under privileged students (35 boys in Srinagar & 5 girls in Delhi) under Petronet Kashmir Super 30 programme in association with Indian Army -19 Artillary Brigade, Baramullah & CSRL. This programme is also an effort towards supporting GoI’s Policy of maintaining the interest of the J&K citizens in main stream. Petronet Kashmir Super 30 would help for selected students of J&K to fulfil their dream ( of course –dream of their parents /teacher / well wishers too) for Higher Engineering education. This programme will provide an opportunity to the students of J&K, aiming for admission in reputed Engineering Institution in the years to come.
Mr Prabhat Singh, MD&CEO, PLL ; Mr Y Chaudhary, Brigadier (Chinar Corp) & Mr S K Shahi, Director , CSRL inked the tripartite agreement on 8th August 2016 ( Monday) in PLL’s Corporate Office Delhi in the presence of PLL’s senior officials.
