PETRONET FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION IN CLEAN GANGA FUND

River Ganga has been the source of physical and spiritual sustenance of Indian civilization for millennia. Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility has contributed Rs 1.5 Crore in the Clean Ganga Fund corpus set up by Government of India. The Fund will have the objective of contributing to the national effort of cleaning of the river Ganga and will help bring innovation and technological know-how and connect with this national cause. The cheque was handed over by Shri Prabhat Singh, MD&CEO, PLL to Mr U.P. Singh, IAS, Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga in the presence of Shri K. D. Tripathi, IAS, Chairman PLL and Secretary, PNG, Govt of India.
