Dr. A. K. Balyan, MD & CEO Petronet LNG Limited, has been conferred with the FGI HR award by the Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI) in recognition of path breaking professional contributions to HR management in India and for his exemplary leadership leading Petronet LNG Limited, enhancing its productivity and quality standards.

The award was presented by His Excellency Prasad Kariyawasam, Sri Lanka's High Commissioner to India, at the FGI National HRD Conclave 2012 held on February 23, 2012.

The capacity of the terminal has been expanded in phases which is currently 17.5 MMTPA and the same is under expansion to 22.5 MMTPA in two phases. The terminal has 6 LNG storage tanks and other vaporization facilities.
